This is really an authentic old scandinavian way of enjoying coffee outside the home! - In Denmark we had (and stille have a few) Kaffesaloner, here you could get a cup of black coffee and a piece of smørrebrød, or maybe a hot dish for dinner. The decor looked a lot like the one in the pictures.
I honestly miss these places. Even though I am from the café-generation.
